Each year Wilson County Marching Bands participate in an exhibition at Green Hill High School to showcase their performances and talent of all our Wilson County Schools. At the end of the evening, the bands come together in the field and play “Hey, Baby!” in one final collaboration. It is a great event we look forward to each year. A special thank-you to Beth Schwartz, for these amazing images.

The Band of Gold was invited to participate in the Wilson County/TN State Fair Parade. Members of the band serenaded fair goers with “Rocky Top”. If you happened to catch a glimpse of their shirts, you may have seen the logos of nearly 2 dozen businesses who have supported our band this year. You can view them also on our Sponsors Page.

Several MJHS Band of Gold Alumni participated in DCI (Drum Corps International) world class groups this summer. DCI is considered “Marching Music’s Major League.” Their 2024 season culminated last weekend with the DCI World Championships at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN.
Shout out to these former members for continuing their music education into their college years (and beyond)!
